Wind H Art Center Rebranding
[Practice Project]
Wind H Art Center, established in 2019, is a Beijing-based art institution. It combines avant-garde interior design with a bold selection of artists and expresses the traditional eastern aesthetic in a contemporary way.
The name's literal translation is "sky in the mountain." According to records, the mountain it indicated was built thousands of years ago. The ancients used this mountain as a reference point to calculate the coordinates of the sky and land. Therefore, that mountain is the origin.
I took mountain's origin and its smallest unit, stone, as the starting point. A visit to this unusually structured museum necessitates insight and some wonderful works frequently necessitate going around to the innermost part to see them. The overlap form is applied here to fit its interior design.
